CREATIVE Evesham homeowners have been rewarded for showcasing their Christmas spirit with prizes from the Mayor of Evesham.
Coun Sue Amor launched the competition last month to find the best outdoor decorations with prizes supporting local independent shops in the town.
Following the Christmas festivities, Coun Amor toured the town together with Coun Marlene Sale and Town Clerk Stuart Carter to look at all the households which had entered the competition.
“It was wonderful to see how many people were still taking part in the spirit of Christmas after such a challenging year. It really uplifted us to see how families were still enjoying life despite the restrictions,” the Mayor of Evesham said.
Winners were chosen on Broadway Road, St Margaret’s Close and Northwick Road and all homeowners received vouchers for an independent High Street shop.
