Masked intruders attempted robbery foiled by homeowners

Joshua Godfrey 30th Nov, 2016 Updated: 30th Nov, 2016   0

MASKED intruders broke into a house in Blackminster and began searching the property before being caught by the homeowners.

At about 9pm last Thursday (November 24), three men forced their way in through a downstairs window of the Station Road property and searched through a room. After being disturbed, the intruders then fled the property.

Police enquiries are on-going, but it’s believed nothing was stolen during the break-in and the homeowners weren’t injured in the incident.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is urged to call West Mercia Police 101, quoting incident number 0191S251116. Alternatively, information can be passed on anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
