Masked burglars raid Evesham home

POLICE are appealing for information after a group of men dressed in black broke into a house in Evesham in a suspected aggravated burglary.

Officers were called to a house on Elm Road at about 5.15pm on Tuesday (January 12) after three men broke into the property through a back door.

The raiders then searched downstairs before moving upstairs where they found three of the residents in one of the rooms.

One of the suspected burglars told the residents to be quiet, while another was believed to be holding a screwdriver.




The offenders then left the house and made off in a silver 5 series BMW which was parked on Kings Road. It is believed the car headed towards the roundabout near to Lidl.

All the offenders are believed to be men and all had their faces covered.


Nothing was stolen during the incident and no-one was injured.

Anyone who may have been in the Elm Road or Kings Road at the time of the burglary are urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 419S of 12 January 2016.
