THERE will be a chance to discover the history of market gardening in the Vale of Evesham as there is a drop-in event at Pershore Town Hall between 11am and 2pm tomorrow during the Pershore Plum Festival.
The Market Gardening Heritage project is being led by Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology Service and is being funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Nina O’Hare, Worcestershire County Council’s community project officer, said: “We’d love to hear from anyone who has photos or memories of market gardening in order to preserve a record for the future.”
