A MAN has been taken to hospital after his car ended up on its roof in a hedge near Evesham.
Emergency services, including police, paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene on the B4025 Badsey Road, near to the Briarlea Residential Care Home, at about 7.06pm yesterday evening.
West Midlands Ambulance said they initially received a call to say the driver was trapped inside the black Vauxhall Astra.
But when paramedics arrived at the scene the man in his 20’s had managed to get himself out of the car.
He was treated for for head, chest and arm injuries and was taken to the Alexandra Hospital for further treatment. He remained fully conscious throughout.
Two fire crews from Evesham were sent to the scene to make the vehicle safe.
West Mercia Police is now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to come forward by calling them on 101, quoting incident number 732S of Sunday, October 29.
