A MAN in his 30s was stabbed in the chest during an assault in Abbey Park in Evesham earlier this month.
Witnesses to the assault are being sought by police following the incident which took place between 12.10am and 12.30am on Monday, August 20.
The victim suffered a suspected a stab wound to the chest and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Det Con Thomas Birchley said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or may be able to assist with enquiries.
“We would ask anyone with any information to please call 101 quoting incident number 86s of 20 August 2018.”
