Man in court on school sex abuse charges

A FORMER member of staff at an Evesham school has appeared in court charged with four sexual abuse offences.

Simon Price, who was a non-teaching member of staff at Prince Henry’s High School, appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Monday (December 29).

The 40-year-old was charged with two counts of sexual activity in the presence of a child, one charge of causing a child to look at an image of sexual activity and one charge of abuse of a position of trust.

He was arrested on April 30 and charged with the offences on December 10, the charges are alleged to have been committed against a pupil at the school.




Prince Henry’s High School suspended Mr Price following his arrest and the school’s management has worked closely with the investigation team.

Mr Price was conditionally bailed by magistrates and will appear at Worcester Crown Court April 20.
