A MAN was arrested for arson in Evesham on Easter Sunday (April 20) after police received a call from a concerned member of the public.
Officers from Evesham Police were called at approximately 10am with information about an individual who had started a fire in the toilets along Waterside.
PC Warren and PC Johns attended the scene shortly after and apprehended the suspect in Bridge Street.
He was also arrested for being in possession of a Class B drug.

The male was in possession of a pedal cycle which he couldn’t account for so the police are asking that anyone who recognises it should get in contact with PC Johns via [email protected].
He will need to see proof of ownership.
