A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a fatal collision in Norton over the bank holiday weekend.
West Mercia Police said a black Jeep Renegade and BMW motorcycle were involved in the crash on Sunday at around 4:55pm on Evesham Road.
Sadly, a man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene and a 38-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The driver and four passengers from the Jeep were taken to hospital with injuries.
A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Norton, near Evesham, on Sunday (May 25).
“Officers would like to speak to the members of the public who assisted after the collision, from anyone who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or from people who may have dashcam footage from around the time it happened.”
The accident was attended by four Four Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews along with the incident support unit from Malvern.
They were also supported by Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Alcester and Stratford.
