A MAN has been charged in connection with the death of an elderly woman in Chipping Campden.
Matthew Corry, 45 and of High Street in Chipping Campden, is accused of the murder of his mother Beatrice Corry.
Police were called to their home in the village at 12.10am on Friday (January 6) where Beatrice, who was 84, was found with head injuries, which she subsequently died from.
Corry appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court today (Monday) and was remanded in custody to appear at Bristol Crown Court
