FUN and frolics will be on offer at this year’s Evesham River Festival .
The main attraction is the 1933 RNLI lifeboat that has an amazing history in rescuing lives and was later named after the skipper who gave his life to save others.
Live music start with a brass band at 11am and continues with the Worcestershire Levellers and Water Ukraine Band plus dance troops with will be making the atmosphere colourful with on water actives from a steam boats, stand up paddle boards, the annual build a raft and race it too.
There are stall for food, wine and ales as well as the boat parade and the firework finale to bring an explosive end to the fun.
Today’s celebrations starts at 11am with the last parade on water in lights and fireworks from 9.30pm.
