THE FIRST lucky winners of the Vale Lottery have been revealed following a draw in Port Street’s square.
An incredible 381 tickets were sold for the inaugural draw meaning the first prize was worth £156 while second, third and fourth won £65, £26 and £13 respectively.
Kim Dunn, along with Russel Theron and Debi Rolls, have been the driving force behind the scheme.
“This is the best project yet – as it grows there will be some serious cash prizes each month, it helps get people into town and
into the shops to buy the tickets.” she added.
The next draw will be held on April 25 and on the last Saturday of each subsequent month and the tickets are available from a host of local shops.
