AN INSIGHT into potential future careers was on offer when the University of Worcester hosted its first Civil Service Careers Fair.
The event, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, saw numerous stands, with representatives from a variety of departments providing information to students.
Stands included HM Prison and Probation, the Ministry of Defence, the National Health Service, the Department for Health and Social Care, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, the Office of the Public Guardian, the Ministry of Justice and HM Courts and Tribunals.
Andrea Rimmington, running a stand for the Office of the Public Guardian, said: “I’ve found it really useful because it’s opening up opportunities for the students to think about our organisation – not necessarily to apply now, but in future. It’s seeing what it might be like to work for us or the Civil Service.”
