AFTER a successful run with The Musical Alphabet in May 2022, Evesham Operatic and Dramatic Society (EODS) are back at The Henrician this November with a laugh out loud show to lift the spirits without lightening your pockets.
Light Up The Laughter is the perfect pick-me up for those dull November nights with a non-stop programme of silly sketches, happy harmonies, crazy choreography, and musical mayhem!
“We just want to give people a great night out and celebrate the gift of laughter” said show director Rachelle Hobbs.
“It’s been a difficult couple of years, so we felt it was really important to give people a show where they could just sit back, relax, clap along and most of all, laugh out loud!
“Laughter is such an important part of our mental health and well-being, so it’s been great fun for the cast and crew to work on, and we know it’s going to be just what the doctor ordered for our audiences too!”
From classic sketches from the likes of The Two Ronnies and Monty Python, brand new original material, hilarious songs from Victoria Wood and the West End to the wafting musical parody ‘Let One Go’, there’s more than enough to make you H.A.P.P.Y!
And with Caring Hands as their chosen charity for this year, the group are hoping that they will be able to raise more than just a smile and give something back to the community.
Tickets are now just £10 for all performances.
