THE LIFE and times of the famous Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton will be highlighted at Pershore Heritage and History Society’s October meeting on Thursday (October 6)
Paul Haywood will present a talk entitled “An Evening with Ernest Shackleton” who led three expeditions to the Antarctic early in the last century. The timing of the talk is particularly appropriate marking the centenary of the explorerer’s death.
The meeting is being held at the society’s usual venue of Wulstan Hall, Priest Lane, Pershore at 7.30 p.m. Admission for non members is just £2.50.
