THE LIFE and troubled times of England’s arguably most controversial monarch, Richard III, features at the next meeting of Pershore’s Heritage and History Society.
‘Murderer, Loyal Brother – or England’s Greatest King’ is the subject of a talk by Max Keen, attired in authentic medieval costume, at the society’s meeting at the usual venue of Wulstan Hall on Priest Lane Thursday at 7.30pm.
The talk should prove a popular follow up to the recent visit by society members to the Richard III Visitor Centre at Leicester and to visit the Yorkist king’s final resting place and memorial in Leicester Cathedral.
All are welcome with admission for non members at £2.50.
