BUCKETS and spades as well as skis and scuba diving were on the menu at St Nicholas CE Middle School when pupils welcomed a special guest.
Four year seven classes took part in a workshop by Nathan Chatterton, director of Yorkshire-based holiday travel agency Rondo Travel, all about how to market holidays.
The workshop was part of their term-long project which will culminate in a ‘Destinations Holiday Show’ in March where youngsters will present their ideas to an audience of staff, parents and governors.
Bex Chatterton, Head of English, said: “Learning Journeys have proved to be an excellent way of engaging the children by providing a wide range of real, not fabricated, contexts for doing things.”
