A FINAL call has been made to Vale residents to show their support and help Angela Tidmarsh’s bid to become Visit England’s Tourism Superstar.
She is one of just 10 UK tourism leading lights to be nominated for the prestigious award and has been on a tour around the county seeking support.
A Vote4Ange giant float has paraded through Evesham’s Country Park and Webb’s Garden Centre, with Gus the Asparagus Man, Prunella Plum, the AsparaFairy, the Plum Charmer and friends sweeping the carnival atmosphere through Wychavon.
“I am completely overwhelmed by all the support I have been given and the trouble people have gone to in order to help with my campaigning.
“Whether I win or not, I am so proud of the fact I hail from Worcestershire, and the people of the county have shown such ingenuity to get the word out.”
Voting ends at midnight tonight (February 28) with the winner being announced on Saturday, March 14.
