A LARGE pane of glass above Boots on the Evesham Shopping Park has shattered- the second such incident in just nine months.
Emergency services were called to the Worcester Road shopping centre at about 11.10am on Tuesday (September 13).
The crew from Evesham Fire Station made the 12ft x 6ft pane on the first floor of the retail unit safe and no one was injured. Officers from West Mercia Police also attended.
Questions have been raised on social media about the safety of the large panes of glass following this second incident. In December of last of year another pane of glass on the ground floor of the Boots store also shattered.
