Kit deal is latest boost for Warriors Women’s quest

WARRIORS Women have continued their major stride forward from the ashes from the fallen Worcester Warriors with a major multi-year kit deal.

Their partnership with Gilbert Rugby will see the manufacturer provide the team with a range of women’s specific clothing and equipment, including playing kit, training kit, balls and more.

The 23/24 season marks an exciting time for the Warriors as they stand proudly as an independent entity in the Allianz Premier 15s, without the support of a men’s side.

Jon Graham, a seasoned executive with decades of expertise, is set to steer the ship as Managing Director of Warriors Women RFC.

His distinguished career spans various sectors where he has proven instrumental in driving growth, innovating business strategies, and establishing influential partnerships.

Jon said: “We are trailblazers in the sport, a team that doesn’t lean on a men’s side and stands proudly on our own merit, setting our path in the rugby landscape.

“We house a team of exceptional athletes who are not just rewriting the records on the pitch but are breaking stereotypes in the broader society.

“They are inspirations, role models for the upcoming generation of women in rugby, and pioneers in the sports world.

“Our community is at the heart of everything we do. We aim to nurture our relationships and create an environment that encourages participation, celebrates accomplishments and instils the core values of rugby, namely respect, enjoyment, discipline and teamwork.

Jon’s ambition extends beyond the pitch, he aims to make every matchday a memorable and engaging event and immersive fan experience.
