A KIND-hearted youngster from Evesham has raised hundreds of pounds for a town boy with Cerebral Palsy who is need of specialist equipment.
11-year-old Thomas Wild baked his way to success by holding a cake sale to raise £150.35 for Footsteps for Lewis- a fundraising drive set up for four-year-old Lewis to help buy him the equipment he needs to carry out daily tasks.
The money raised by Thomas will also help push Footsteps for Lewis closer to their fundraising target to pay for intensive physiotherapy sessions and so Lewis can receive private physiotherapy treatment at home.
Thomas’ mum, Sara Wild, said: “My husband and I are extremely proud of our son for thinking of others. He knows he is a very lucky boy for what he has in life and just wants to be able to help others where he can.”
