AN Inkberrow mum is bursting with pride after her son was awarded a prestigious diploma for his skill as a pianist.

Juliet Wynter couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw her son Jude, aged 17, pick up a Licentiate of Trinity College London diploma – the equivalent to the final year of an undergraduate degree.

The Year 12 Bromsgrove School music and academic scholar has been playing piano for much of his life.

Proud mum Juliet, said: “Jude was Grade 8 on the piano by the time he was ten.

“He loves to perform and has been the soloist at a number of concerts and charity events, including for Worcester Male Choir and Alcester Singers.”

Jude has also given short recitals at St Peter’s Church, Inkberrow and at Bromsgrove School.

The talented youngster also won the Bromsgrove Young Musicians’ Platform in 2017.

Juliet added: “He has worked so hard to get where he is and as a family we are really pleased for him.

“He would like to thank his piano teacher Neil Barry, staff at Bromsgrove School and his local church for their continued support.”
