A RIGHT royal celebration will be had by all as Evesham hosts its own street party to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The free event, organised by Coun Sue Amor and Coun Emma Haynes, is being held in the Market Square between 12pm and 4pm on Sunday (June 12).

Community spirit will be in full flow as residents are urged to bring picnics along to enjoy the fun and games, music and singing in order to celebrate Her Majesty’s birthday in style.

For more information contact Mayoress Coun Sue Amor by emailing [email protected].

PERSHORE residents are being invited to a tea party in Abbey Park to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The celebrations begin with a service at the town’s Abbey from 10.30am on Sunday, June 12, which will be attended by local dignitaries including Pershore’s MP Harriett Baldwin and a representative of Lieutenancy.

The tea party in the park will then begin at 2pm and to add to the occasion the Academy Swing Band will be playing in the bandstand from 2pm until 4pm.
