A MAN from Evesham has been jailed for more than 11 years for his role in a drug dealing operation across South Worcestershire.

David Cruse, 35, of Evesham Road, Cleeve Prior, was sentenced to 11 years and seven months after being found guilty of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, January 29.

Cruse was one of three men sentenced for a total of more than 21 years for running the cocaine supply ring.

John Dymock, 37, of Pinewood Drive, Cheltenham, was sentenced to six years and nine months and Darrel Keen, who is already serving time for previous Class A drug dealing offences, was sentenced to a further two years in light of new evidence.

Detective Inspector Brown of the Regional Organised Crime Unit said: “This sentencing is a tribute to the investigation team who worked tirelessly and relentlessly to pursue those responsible for a well-established, long running, and lucrative drug dealing enterprise.

“Tackling drug dealing networks and the serious and organised crime gangs they support is a priority and we will continue to focus our efforts on disrupting the criminal behaviour of those who are causing harm in our communities.”
