A BROADWAY electrical firm has added a bright spark to its board of directors.

Jack England has been appointed company director at Ford Electrical Limited in Willersey at the age of just 25.

His appointment caps a rapid rise for the former apprentice who only joined the firm, who specialise in major electrical projects and long term school maintenance contracts across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Warwickshire, in 2006.

Jack completed his four year electrical apprenticeship and worked his way up through the ranks, as electrician, then operational manager before becoming a director.

“I would firstly like to take this opportunity to thank Robert, Pat and Peter Heming for putting the upmost trust in me and making me company director.” Jack said.

“I fully appreciate what responsibilities lay ahead and relish the challenge.

“Clients and staff can be assured that I will remain loyal and continue the hard work to achieve a successful future for our

business.”

Jack said he had enjoyed a number of highlights during his time with the firm including work on a £3.5million recycling plant and the restoration of Mill Bank Turbine House at Evesham Weir.

Ford Electrical Ltd is part of The Heming Group, who acquired Ford Electrical in 2010.

Jack continues to work closely with the company founder Brian Ford and Heming Group director Peter Heming.
