CLUBS and charities in Evesham could benefit from financial support from the town council.
There is still time to apply for funding from Evesham Town Council’s Small Grants Scheme.
The council has £20,500 available to distribute in small grants to local clubs, charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Last year, it gave grants to Working World, Shine Out Of School Clubs, Claus For A Cause and Read Easy South Worcestershire name but a few.
The mayor, Councillor John Clatworthy, said: “We’re lucky in Evesham to have so many brilliant clubs, charities and community groups doing great things for the town.
“Every year we give out thousands of pounds to support them and that funding really makes a difference.
“We’re proud to play a part in helping them thrive. So if your group is running a project, helping others, needs equipment, or has any other initiative in mind, we strongly encourage you to apply.”
The project supported by grant funding must be for the benefit of Evesham residents and the applicant organisation must hold a bank account in its own name.
The deadline to apply is Friday, August 22.
