Pershore Community Cupboard is being helped to bring festive cheer to families and individuals in the community with the help of an IT asset disposal company.
Pershore-based OCM which provides IT collection and recycling services, has supported the Pershore Community Cupboard for several years as part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the town.
With demand expected to remain high again this winter, OCM’s donation will play a vital role in helping the charity meet growing needs within the district.
This year company’s contribution will help provide some of the 160 boxes of biscuits and 320 Cadbury selection boxes for families receiving support this Christmas.
These items will accompany the supermarket vouchers purchased by the cupboard, all helping to ease financial pressures for local families during what can be a difficult time of year.
“We are so grateful for OCM’s continued generosity and commitment to our local community.
“Their support makes a real difference, not only helping us to reach more families but also bringing some festive joy to those who may be struggling,” Richard Tisdall from Pershore Community Cupboard.
The Pershore Community Cupboard operates from Pershore Baptist Church, from Monday to Saturday and has given out more than 8836 food baskets this year.
It welcomes additional donations and any new volunteers.
