A VALE barbershop chorus is bidding to hit all the right notes when members compete in a national competition against 38 other groups.
Vale Harmony will take to the stage at the annual convention of the British Association of Barbershop Singers at Harrogate in Yorkshire over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Members are hoping for success as 2018 marks the group’s 40th anniversary.
The chorus will be competing in the third of four divisions and hopes to emulate its success in 2015 when it came top of its league.
Chairman Chris Franey said: “We’ll be hoping to impress the judges with our rendition of ‘Where is Love’ from the movie Oliver and to wow them with a long-time favourite ‘I Don’t Know Why’.
“We’ve been steadily building up our rehearsing over the past weeks and are confident we can do well.”
