IMAGES of the Vale are the stars of the show in a new 2017 calendar being sold by the Almonry.
‘The Spirit of Evesham and the Vale’ is reflected in the new calendar which is on sale for £5.99 at the Almonry and is already proving popular.
A competition was held in August for snap happy residents of Evesham to submit images which were shortlisted by judges Ian Tustin and David Kelsey and the top 20 were put to the public vote via the Almonry website, Facebook and Twitter.
The 13 images with the most votes have been included in the calendar, with the most popular ‘Workman Bidge at Night’ by Jeanette Cook taking top spot as the cover photo.
“The competition was a great success thanks to everyone involved, there were some great comments on each of the shortlisted entries, I’m really pleased with the calendar,” said Almonry manager Ashleigh Jayes.
