Illegal quad bike riders in Evesham prompt police to step up night patrols

POLICE in Evesham have been stepping up night patrols after reports of anti-social behaviour in local fields.

Officers from the Evesham Rural Team received reports of quad bikes being ridden illegally in fields, in areas such as Middle Littleton. The latest incident was last Thursday.

Evesham Police Rural Team said: “These patrols will continue as we work to identify those responsible.”

And they reminded these riders that vehicles being used illegally on public roads or footpaths – or in a manner that causes alarm, distress or annoyance – could be seized by police.

“We appreciate the community’s support and encourage anyone with information to get in touch.

“Let’s work together to keep our rural areas safe and respectful for everyone.”

Anyone wanting to report illegal quad bike use or other anti-social behaviour should call police on 101. Always call 999 in an emergency or if a crime is taking place.
