PERSHORE’S MP Harriett Baldwin has called on local pub owners to come forward to be considered for a national Parliamentary competition.
The All Party Parliamentary Group for pubs has launched a search for the best pub in the country.
The award will recognise pubs which are great at what they do, including the range of beer or food provided, the dedication to serving the local community or a specialism in music or sports.
Pubs who want to take part need can e-mail Harriett at [email protected].
“We have some really stunning pubs and bars across West Worcestershire, and this is the chance for them to get some national recognition for their hard work,” Mrs Baldwin said.
“This is a prestigious national award and it is a great way to celebrate the best of our pubs and bars across the United Kingdom.
“Any pub who wants to take part should get in touch with me as soon as possible,” she added.
