Hundreds take on Evesham Town 10k Race for local charities

Evesham Editorial 8th Jul, 2024   0

HUNDREDS of runners trailblazed Evesham’s annual Town 10k Race to boost funds for three local charities over the weekend.

Over 500 runners were signed up to take on the endurance race through the scenic settings of the Vale of Evesham on Sunday, July 7.

Competitors of all levels started and finished at Crown Meadow to raise funds for Evesham Defibrillators, Claus for a Cause, and Evesham Adventure Playground.

The profits will be split equally between the charities, which helped motivate the runners and will provide a significant boost to the charities’ efforts.

Participants were treated to refreshments before and after the race. Prizes were handed out following the race for fastest times and other winning performances.

The event is organised annually by Evesham Vale Running Club.
