A PICTURESQUE Vale village was full of activity over the weekend when it hosted its annual Walkabout event.
Hundreds of people from all over the country took to the streets of Fladbury on Saturday and Sunday (July 12 and 13) for a weekend of fun.
Visitors were able to view scarecrows, a reptile display which proved to be a great success, enjoy children’s activities on the sports field and take part in circus-themed workshops.
As well as the new attractions the event also hosted a flower festival, more than 20 open gardens, live music, classic cars and a range of stalls.
Steve Curtis, from the Fladbury Festival and Walkabout committee, said: “The event went really well and it was great to see so many people here enjoying the occasion.
“Last year we raised more than £7,000 and we hope we have got a slight increase on it this year.”
Funds raised will go towards the village church and to the benefit of the community.
