A VALE housing group has donated £5,000 to a project which will help people who have suffered from major heart problems.
Rooftop Housing has given the cash to Evesham Vale Cardiac Rehab (EVCR) from its community fund after the group successfully applied for a grant.
The money will be used to help the group buy new specialist ‘low impact’ exercise equipment to help people living with coronary heart disease lead more fulfilling lives.
The cheque was recently presented by Andy Richardson, vice-chairman of the Rooftop Residents’ Committee, to Gerry O’Donnell, chairman of EVCR, and John Darby, EVCR’s secretary.
