A NEW exhibition of abstract artwork from Honeybourne illustrator Sarah Papworth will open on December 1.
The collection of ten original paintings on paper and board will be available to view and purchase online on her website at sarahpapworth.com until the end of Sunday, December 10.
A lifelong artist, Papworth began as a London textile designer and then made her mark in illustration after co-winning a Global Talent Search competition with Lilla Rogers’ Agency.
This latest work heralds an additional career in expressive art which is more personal.
The harmonious paintings are subconsciously inspired by nature and painted intuitively, building acrylic layers and mixed media textures representing emotions and thoughts.
Her real interest is how those creative moments turn into emotions and responses from those who view the work.
