THE RISE of mail order shopping which began in Worcester with the formation of the Kays company in 1890 is the theme of the September meeting of Pershore’s Heritage and History Society.
Bernard Mills, who worked for Kays for many years before final closure in 2004 and holds the company’s archives, will take to the stage for a presentation on the history of Kays and 200 years of shopping habits.
The talk will be held at Wulstan Hall on Priest Lane on Thursday (September 5) at 7.30pm.
