AN INDEPENDENT hotel in Pershore has retained its five star status and prestigious dining award for the second consecutive year.
The historic Angel Inn Hotel has been recognised by AA Hotel & Hospitality Services for its outstanding hospitality and dining experience by regaining a Five Star Inn Award along with a coveted AA Dinner Award for 2025.
Awarded annually, the AA’s quality inspection assessed the Grade II-listed hotel across five key areas of cleanliness, bedrooms, bathrooms, breakfast and dinner, and hospitality.
Alongside its five star recognition, the prestigious AA Dinner Award, celebrates the hotel’s high-quality dining experience.
This honour is granted to establishments that demonstrate a strong emphasis on freshly prepared, locally-sourced ingredients and deliver an exceptional dining experience.
The hotel is unusual in that it operates its own farm, St Catherine’s, which is located four miles away from the High Street venue.
The farm provides the hotel with rare breed pork as well as lamb, poultry, eggs, fruit and vegetables.
Manager Beth Holmes said: “We are delighted to have been re-awarded five star inn status and the AA Dinner Award for another year.
“This achievement is thanks to the work of our entire team, from our chefs to our front-of-house staff to our housekeepers.
“We are proud to maintain the highest standards for all our guests.”
The hotel has 20 rooms and is owned by Spirit Hospitality registered in Pershore.
