MAPLINS Holiday Camp is to open for a short season in Bretforton, as a lively stage adaptation of the popular BBC TV comedy Hi-De-Hi! will run for four shows.
BAD Theatre (Bretforton Amateur Dramatics) will be taking audiences back to the 1950s with its latest production – a riotous comedy with a host of colourful characters – at the Theatrebarn from Thursday (July 3) to Saturday (July 5).
There’ll be plenty of laughter, mischief and holiday-camp antics to enjoy and in a first for BAD Theatre, a live band will join actors on stage.

Written by Paul Carpenter and Ian Gower, and based on the classic Croft and Perry series, the play features all the much-loved TV characters.
Directed by Mark Prince, ambition, rivalry, romance and gossip run wild as chaos unfolds in classic, comedic, holiday-camp style.
Alice Heather, chair of BAD Theatre, said: “We’re delighted to bring some summer holiday fun to the Theatrebarn with our production of Hi-De-Hi!
“It’s going to be a hoot, and we hope our audiences will love it as much as we do.”
Performances start at 7.30pm, with a matinee at 2pm on Saturday.
