A NUMBER of roads in Evesham and Pershore have reopened as river levels on the Avon begin to fall.

Waterside in Evesham has become the latest to reopen after flooding caused by Storm Gerrit and Storm Henk.

All bridges in Evesham are passable as is Hampton, Hinton on the Green and the A44 between Evesham and Worcester.

Pershore Bridge is also open to traffic following its closure.

However Brook Lane in Cropthorne, Eckington Bridge and the Jubilee Bridge in Fladbury are still closed.

Bus chiefs have confirmed the X50 has resumed its normal route following the reopening of Waterside.
