EVESHAM’s Mop Fair returned to the town last night and motorists are being advised of the numerous road closures in place in the town.
Merstow Green, Vine Street southbound from the Merstow Green roundabout to the High Street, the High Street southbound from Vine Street to the junction with Oat Street are all now closed until 2am on Sunday (October 2)
Bridge Street between the High Street and Mill Street and Market Place are also closed as the event makes its return to Evesham.
Due to the Mop, First Worcester’s X50 service will divert via Oat Street, Mill Street and Waterside before rejoining the normal route from Pershore Road. The police station and Leisure Centre bus stops will not be served during this closure until Sunday.
