EVESHAM and Pershore’s roads will be gritted from 6pm this evening with light, isolated snow flurries forecast by the Met Office.
The cold snap will see road temperatures fall to almost minus five Celsius overnight in addition to falling flood waters.
Drivers and pedestrians have been urged to take care on roads and pavements with icy stretches possible on damp ground.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be a fine albeit cold day with largely sunny skies and mostly small amounts of cloud.
The brisk easterly breeze will make it feel like it’s below freezing.
There will be plenty of sunshine on Wednesday but cloudier skies on Thursday and Friday.
It will remain cold with overnight frosts, especially at first.
