AS CHRISTMAS fast approaches Father Christmas is coming to Evesham over the next few weeks to spread festive cheer to Vale youngsters.
For more than 40 years the members at Evesham Round Table have been bringing joy to local residents with the long-serving tradition of Father Christmas, his elves and charity partners visiting the streets and knocking on doors to raise as much money as possible for local causes.
The sleigh has raised more than £100,000 over the last decade for local charities including Harvey Bears, Evesham Sea Cadets, Wallace House, Olivia’s Dream and many more.
Good boys and girls can expect to see Father Christmas in Evesham and in most villages across the Vale from Monday, November 26 until Friday, December 21 when he heads back to the North Pole for the big day on December 25.
Youngsters and their parents are advised to look for him and his sleigh which has once again been provided by Listers VW from 6.30pm on weekdays and from 4.30pm on weekends.
Before he sets off on his 26 night tour of Evesham, Father Christmas will be stopping by Tesco on Worcester Road tomorrow (Saturday).
There will be Individual daily maps of the streets Santa will be visiting that evening on the Vale of Evesham Round Table’s Facebook page. All money collected is disbursed to local charities and good causes.
