Heartless thieves steal long service medal from Evesham home

HEARTLESS thieves have stolen a long service medal during a burglary at a property in Evesham.

The callous burglars forced their way into the Cheltenham Road home sometime between Sunday, July 9 and 7.30pm on Friday, July 14.

Jewellery, cash in Euros and a passport were also stolen.

The long service medal which was stolen is awarded to either a member of the Army, Navy or Air Force in recognition of their long service.

Anyone who has information on the incident is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident numberĀ 0858S of Friday, July 14.
