THE TEAM from an Evesham opticians was all heart on Valentine’s Day to help raise funds for charity.
Staff from Specsavers on Bridge Street hosted a love-themed fund-raising day for the British Heart Foundation, which raises money to research cures and treatments into heart and circulatory diseases.
Team members offered a range of baked treats in return for donations, as part of the store’s own bake sale and they raised £215 for the charity.
“We had a great time celebrating Valentine’s Day for the British Heart Foundation last year, so the team were really keen to share the love again this year,” said Specsavers Evesham store director, Amy Liau.
“We want to say a big thank-you to everyone who donated on the day.”
