THE W Factor will be back in 2017 and Wychavon District Council is once again on the look out for the Vale’s most talented youngsters.
Open auditions will be taking place across the district which are open to anyone aged 11 to 18-years-old and the categories in which they can showcase their skills are dance, singing, drama, circus and comedy.
The De Montfort School in Evesham will be hosting auditions from 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 18, followed by the Civic Centre in Pershore from 5,30pm on Thursday, January 19.
The selected finalists will then get to perform at the Number 8 Arts Centre in Pershore in a professional showcase final with industry standard production facilities on Monday, March 6.
Jenny Davis, Wychavon District Council’s Arts Development Officer, said: “It’s a privilege to bring back The W Factor again to Wychavon.
“Over the years the competition has been brilliant for developing young artists, but it’s also been great at helping those taking part to develop their confidence and build a strong personality, which will hopefully help them as they pursue their careers.”
