Harvington residents can meet their councillor at special event

WYCHAVON residents will have the chance to meet with their district councillors face-to-face to raise any concerns they may have.

Over the next two weeks, Wychavon District Council will hold two ‘Meet Your Council’ events where councillors and council officers can meet people in their wards.

The first event is taking place in the Harvington ward on Thursday, March 22, when Coun Charlie Homer will be at the Harvington convenience store in Leys Road from 3pm to 5pm to meet and speak with residents.

Tracy Perkins, localism and communities officer at Wychavon District Council, said: “Both of these events provide a good opportunity for people to come and meet their local councillors, without the need to make an appointment.

“They can raise any issues or concerns they may have in order to see what we can do to help, but these events also give people the chance to find out about some of the things we do for the community and to get all the latest news and advice on the services we provide.”
