FUND-RAISERS at a community-owned Bishampton pub raised more than £1,200 for the Midlands Air Ambulance with a rock ‘n’ roll charity evening.
Staff at The Dolphin opened their doors for a night of musical memories from Elvis to Michael Jackson and the Beatles to Queen and raised £1,226.86 for the charity.
The pub was purchased by the Bishampton and Throckmorton Parish Council in 2013, it’s now run by a not-for-profit community interest company.
As well as music and memories, guests enjoyed a three course meal, a raffle with donations from local businesses and auction for a signed Worcester Warriors shirt and two tickets to a game at Sixways thanks to Greene King.
