AWARD-WINNING funny man Marcus Brigstocke is bringing his latest comedy show Vitruvian Mango to the Vale.
The show, which explores the role of men in the modern world, asks whether they’re still needed, what for, and whether they serve any purpose at all.
“Most heavy things can be lifted by machines and most problems can be solved by computers and most puddles can be crossed without us gallantly draping our capes over them – so are we fellas of any use at all?” he ponders.
Brigstocke, familiar to Radio 4 listeners for his appearances on I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, The Now Show and Just a Minute will resolve the entire issue once and for all (in a non-patriarchal, open minded, progressive sort of way).
Described as ‘charming, hilarious and utterly refreshing’ by the Sunday Mirror.
The performance at Bretforton’s Theatrebarn on March 19 is strictly 14+ and likely to contain swearing and adult content.
