Fund-raising page in memory of mum

A FUND-RAISING bid to support the grieving partner and daughters of a woman who died in a crash in Flyford Flavell has raised more than £3,000.

Friends of Nicola Johanson took to the internet following the tragedy which saw the mum of two die following a two car collision between her green Ford C-Max and a blue Audi S3 on the A422 Alcester Road between Flyford Flavell and Inkberrow at about 9.20pm on Friday (August 2).

A Go Fund Me page has been set up in her memory and friend Sarah Houghton said: “Her two beautiful little girls now have to face a life without their very loved mummy.”

“A group of friends and school mummies of Nicola’s based in Inkberrow really wanted to show some support to her partner, Jamie, who now has the heart-breaking task of continuing life without Nicola.

“We are hoping the funds can help in a small way to provide the girls some happy days out and take the financial pressure away from Jamie whilst he grieves,” she added.
