AN EVESHAM opticians has raised £194.14 after running two coffee mornings in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has been running since 1990 and has raised more than £200 million to date.
This year, Specsavers on Bridge Street joined in the fund-raising efforts with coffee mornings held last weekend.
Store director Amy Liau said: ‘Our team love to take part in fund-raising for Macmillan and we’ve had a fantastic weekend catching up with our customers over a cuppa and some sweet treats.
“After the success of our cake sale last year we decided to join in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
“Everyone has been so generous – a massive thank-you to all who took part.”
